Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier traveled to the Slovak Republic on 27 April for political talks with the Slovak President, Zuzana Čaputová. In Košice, the two heads of state also met representatives of humanitarian agencies to discuss the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia. The Federal President then visited the NATO battlegroup in Sliač.

Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier traveled to the Slovak Republic on 27 April for political talks with the Slovak President, Zuzana Čaputová. In Košice, the two heads of state also met representatives of humanitarian agencies to discuss the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia.

The Federal President then visited the NATO battlegroup in Sliač, where he talked with the Bundeswehr soldiers deployed there.
